About Our Area

Skegness is one of the largest resort towns on the Lincolnshire Coast and has been a premier holiday destination for over one hundred years, continuing to be a holidaying hotspot for all ages.

A modern and cultured space, a series of investments have been made to put Skegness on the map as a holiday destination for the 21st Century and there are loads of places to go with kids in Skegness.

All you could want is here, with clean sands, sea to paddle in, and a wealth of great attractions along the promenade and seafront, including, of course, Skegness Aquarium.

Skegness has something for all ages, with a vibrant night-life, cultural hotspots and plenty of places for just relaxing and taking in the Great British coastline and scenery.

In Skegness, we are particularly proud of our beaches and have won numerous awards for the quality of our sands, water and coastline, including the prestigious Blue Flag award, The Quality Coast Award and The Good Beach Guide.  The beach and seaside attractions are one of the great places to go with kids in Skegness.

A stunning season awaits in Skegness – from the action packed SO Festival, which is back between 24 June – 2 July, to the annual Skegness Scooter Rally, Carnival Parade, Amca Beach Races and much more….

And, with our very own Octopus arrival in time for the 2017 season, this is definitely a great year to come and sample the Skegness delights.
